Next spring, the popular American Girl doll shop will open its first Colorado location in the Park Meadows mall in Denver.

According to a news release, Mattel Inc. subsidiary American Girl Brands LLC is slated to occupy 8,500 square feet in the new Vistas outdoor retail-and-dining area of the Lone Tree mall. It will be the eighth location for the store in the United States.

American Girl sells historic and contemporary dolls, doll outfits, accessories, girl-sized clothing and its line of American Girl books. The Park Meadows store also will feature a Doll Hair Salon and a “Creativi-Tees” boutique in which owners can design doll-sized shirts.

In the release, Park Meadows senior general manager Pam Schenck-Kelly said, “Park Meadows is thrilled to debut Colorado’s first American Girl store. The American Girl brand is an experiential destination for families and will be a welcome addition to our mix of upscale retailers and restaurants.”
