Today is American Idols’ Elimination Night and many of you who missed the live show, or haven’t watched it yet from your area are probably wondering “Who got eliminated?”
American Idol just said goodbye to Lacey Brown, flame-haired pastors’ daughter.
Lacey Brown, a 24-year-old event coordinator from Amarillo, Texas, was the first finalist eliminated from the ninth season of the Fox singing competition Wednesday. Brown, who turned in a lackluster rendition of the Rolling Stones’ “Ruby Tuesday” on Tuesday’s performance episode, failed to impress the judges with a last-minute rendition of Brandi Carlile’s “The Story.”
With her in the first bottom three of American Idol Season 9 were 20-year-old college student Tim Urban from Duncansville, Texas, and 24-year-old preschool teacher Paige Miles from Houston. Urban was chastised for his reggae rendition of “Under My Thumb” while Miles overcame laryngitis to sing a respectable “Honky Tonk Woman.”
