What killed DJ AM?
Authorities are on the way to finding out. Police plans to conduct toxicology tests which could take weeks, according to a medical examiner’s office spokeswoman.
An autopsy was already performed on DJ AM Saturday, but it was “inconclusive.”
Reports have it that the police found drug paraphernalia–specifically a crack pipe and prescription pills in DJ AM’s apartment.
DJ AM’s struggle against drugs was a public issue. He openly discussed his past addictions to crack cocaine, Ecstasy and other drugs.
DJ AM’s body was found by the police–shirtless and wearing sweatpants. He was found on his bed around 5:20pm. No evidence of foul play has been reported.
