David Beckham has made his first hint that he might not finish his five-year contract with the American MLS club Los Angeles Galaxy.
Beckham was open that he was seeking to join a European club to boost his chances of playing for England at the 2010 World Cup finals. However, he was also always saying that he will stay committed to the Galaxy.
But on Wednesday, Beckham made the hint, “…there is a possibility that the contract might break in the autumn, and I do have options. Milan have made me aware that they want me to go back there and I’m more than happy with that.” And he goes on to divulge other offers he’s getting.
Beckham hopes to win his 114th international cap at Wembley, having been an unused substitute in Saturday’s 2-1 friendly win against Slovenia.
He also adds that he will finally decide when the time is right.
