Travis Barker and the rest of the Blink 182 band are still mourning the death of their friend, DJ AM. The band struggled through a weekend show, but they altogether pulled out of a concert on Monday. The explanation goes, “circumstances surrounding the unfortunate and untimely passing of our dear friend Adam ‘DJ AM’ Goldstein.” They are also asking and thanking their fans for their support during this tough time.
Barker was with DJ AM during the tragic plane crash last year, where over four people died, and the two celebrities survived. Blink 182 had a performance on Saturday in Hartford, Conn. but he made it through that difficult time.
On his Twitter page, Barker posted, “I’ll never forget everything we’ve been thru and every time i play the drums i’ll think of you,” he wrote. “My brother is gone. i love u and miss u, i’ll never forget all the good times we had.”
