They’ve had it. Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are suing over the Brangelina split story.
The couple have issued a statement asserting that they are not splitting. Their lawyer, Keith Schilling, said on Monday that the two had started proceedings against Britain’s News of the World for making “false allegations about their relationship.”
Schilling said in a statement, We can confirm unequivocally … that the allegations published by the News of the World are false as well as intrusive.”
The paper reported that Jolie and Pitt were headed for divorce and that they were meeting with a divorce lawyer.
Schilling also added that Sorrell Trope, who was identified in some media reports as the lawyer representing the couple, gave a statement saying, “I have had no contact from them … Angelina Jolie and/or Brad Pitt. I have never met your … clients or had any involvement with either of them.”
This could be the end of the split rumors. After all, Brangelina were seen totally into each other when they were at the Super Bowl.
