BroylesStarting with this week’s game against Baylor, Oklahoma Sooners receiver Ryan Broyles will be out for two to four weeks with a broken left shoulder blade.

Broyles suffered the fracture during Saturday night’s 21-20 loss at Miami, Sooners coach Bob Stoops confirmed Monday.

Broyles leads the Sooners (2-2) with 23 catches for 346 yards and seven touchdowns this season. He had also been the team’s top punt returner.

Heisman Trophy winner Sam Bradford practiced again with the No. 19 Sooners on Monday, but Stoop doesn’t plan to make a decision on whether the quarterback will play until Thursday. Stoops said he doesn’t plan to answer questions about Bradford until then.

The Sooners have been participating in college football since 1895. Calling Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium at Owen Field home, the team has won numerous bowl games, 41 conference championships, and seven Associated Press National Championships, making the Sooners football program the most decorated in the Big 12.
