Week 16 of the Canadian Football League (CFL) continues with the Montreal Alouettes facing off against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Sunday.

The Alouettes already have the first place guaranteed with a standing of 12-2 and with four games remaining. The Alouettes are counting on their No. 1 quarterback, Anthony Calvillo, to lead the team for four more games, but Calvillo may be pulled early from the next games to rest up for the upcoming playoffs in the coming months.

Coach Marc Trestman has yet to decide whether to pull Calvillo out and put back-up Adrian McPherson up instead.

“We’ll make a decision during the course of the season, as things come up, but there is no plan on how we will proceed. We have a game on Sunday and we’ll play it to win and we’ll use all the guys that we have available to try to win.”

Benching Calvillo may be the break the Hamilton Tiger-cats need after losing three times in a row after a strong start to the season. The Tiger-cats are tied with Winnipeg at 6-8.
