Calling all Darwin enthusiasts! Who wants to get their hands on a very rare first edition of Charles Darwin‘s “On the Origin of Species?” Anyone?

Well if you do, Christie’s auction house is putting just that up for bidding. The copy was one of only 1,250 copies which were first printed in 1859.

And of all places the book would have been discovered, it was in a family’s toilet bookshelf. The family, who lives in Oxford had the book all along in their guest lavatory. They said they bought it for just a few shillings in a shop about 40 years ago.

The rare first edition of “Origin of the Species” will be put on auction on Tuesday during the 150th anniversary of its publication. Christie’s said the book is likely to sell for 60,000 pounds ($99,000).

“The Origin of the Species” outlined Darwin’s theory of natural selection. Nowadays, Darwin’s theory is the foundation for the modern understanding of evolution, and Darwin dubbed the father of the evolution theory.

This year, the world celebrates Darwin’s 200th birthday.
