Following the arrest of actor Charlie Sheen for domestic violence charges, Sheen and his wife, Brooke Mueller is said to be planning to get some counseling.
The two were said to have had a heated argument at a dinner party in Aspen. A source close to Mueller told People how it happened, “They were fighting at a dinner in a friend’s house and it continued until the next morning. Both of them were drinking and neither was supposed to be. They both have histories of alcohol abuse and have made every effort to stop. But things got out of hand.”
The source also said that Sheen went to Los Angeles after being released and that the actor plans to get some anger management counseling.
The couple were also said to have separated prior to the fight, but sources say this isn’t true. Sheen’s attorney Richard Cummins said, “They have two children together and they love one another and they’re going to work through what is a difficult time and they’re going to do that together and as privately as possible.”
Sheen is due to appear in court on February 8, 2010 after being booked for second-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief. He posted an $8,500 bond Friday night so he was released.
