If you liked the ’80s, you know who Corey Haim is. The actor, who found fame for starring in hit movies such as The Lost Boys, Lucas and License to Drive, was found dead on Wednesday.
Haim was pronounced dead at the Providence St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Burbank. According to the Los Angeles Police, Haim died at around 3:30 AM in his Southern California apartment. His mom was said to be with him at the time. He was only 38 years old.
Haim’s death was due to an accidental drug overdose. The actor has a long history of drug abuse and has been battling drug addiction for several years.
Haim was also popular for being close with fellow actor Corey Feldman. Known as “The Two Coreys,” Haim and Feldman had done so many projects together, including an A&E reality show with that name from 2007 to 2008.
