The season 4 finale of Dexter aired tonight on Showtime and if you want to know what happens to Dexter, the “Trinity Killer”, read on!

Dexter Morgan continued his hunt for Arthur Mitchell, the Trinity Killer. He was able to take everything that Mitchell owned after Mitchell pulled it out of the bank and tried to make a run for it. Dexter wasn’t able to complete his kill because he was thrown in jail after fleeing the scene of a hit and run accident.

Dexter finally gets to kill Trinity, but only in the nick of time. The Miami PD found out Trinity’s true identity, yet the show’s main serial killer got to him first. During the kill scene, it appears as if Arthur Mitchell gives Dexter some advice, but once Dexter arrives back at his home he finds something unthinkable.
