The world was shocked by the news of the death of Corey Haim. Haim was an actor whose most popular movies were in the 80′s–The Lost Boys, License to Drive, Lucas, and Dream a Little Dream. In the height of his popularity, Haim became a heartthrob. But he battled with drug addiction for a long time.

Haim’s manager and closest friend Mark Heaslip said on Wednesday that Haim was winning his fight with drug addiction. He also added that Haim was down to literally zero medications.

Longtime friend and fellow actor Corey Feldman said on Larry King Live that Haim was put on a new line of medications by his doctor. He also asked people to not believe that Haim died from drug overdose until autopsy reports come out.

Feldman said, “I know that there were symptoms that he was showing that expressed it could be a number of things. This could have been a kidney failure. This could have been a heart failure.”

Feldman also said Haim was also turning his life around–taking care of his mom who was suffering from cancer.
