In this year’s top 100 list of Most Powerful Celebrities from Forbes, Oprah reclaims the number one spot that she lost to Angelina Jolie last year (who now slipped to number 18).

New names also made it to this year’s list as they rose in terms of fame and wealth/earnings in the past year. One of them is eccentric popstar Lady Gaga who skyrocketed to number 4 on her debut on the list. Twilight’s vamp Robert Pattinson (#50) and on-cam lady-love Kristen Stewart (#66), also made it to the list for the first time.

Here is a list of the top 15 celebrity names who made it to this year’s roster of highest earning and most popular celebrities:

1. Oprah Winfrey

With estimated earnings of $315 Million and an undeniable fame, Oprah, once again topped the list of the rich and famous.

2. Beyonce

A household name because of her chart-topping hits, Beyonce also makes her name and fame beyond the music industry. With a growing fashion line and huge endorsement deals, this hiphop and R&B sensation makes it to number 2.

3. James Cameron

With Avatar’s phenomenal and life-changing success, creator and director James Cameron comes back to the list. Now, he is reportedly working on Avatar 2.

4. Lady Gaga

Debuting at number 4 is something big. Lady Gaga’s theatricality and massive music influence has her catapulting to the list, over taking Madonna, Britney Spears, U2, among others.

5. Tiger Woods

Although he faced a huge controversy involving his marriage (and mistresses), Tiger Woods is still the highest-paid athlete. Lost endorsement deals did not matter thanks to large deals with Nike, EA, and Upper Deck. And the controversies even helped with his popularity!
