Harry Potter star Rupert Grint contracted the potentially deadly influenza A-H1N1 flu (or commonly known as swine flu) from the set of the new Harry Potter movie and is now said to be recovering from the flu.
Grint’s publicist told the press, “It has just been confirmed that Rupert Grint has taken a few days out of filming due to a mild bout of swine flu,” and added “It has just been confirmed that Rupert Grint has taken a few days out of filming due to a mild bout of swine flu”.
Rupert Grint was given a clean bill of health by attending doctors and was even well enough to attend the premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in London.
Grint, 20, stars as Harry Potter’s best friend Ron Weasley in all of the Potter movies.
