People blamed Jessica Simpson for then-boyfriend Tony Romo’s bad performance. But they’re not saying the same about Kate Hudson.
A sports columnist for the New York Post is saying that the actress is a good influence on Alex Rodriguez, or A-Rod. He’s had an outstanding performance throughout the 2009 baseball season and now in the World Series.
David Wells writes about Hudson being a good luck charm to the athlete. “There were so many distractions in Alex Rodriguez’s life before this year. But he’s got a good woman with him now in Kate.”
Wells also adds that Hudson’s boisterous presence at A-Rod’s games is good for the player, referring to the actress’ supportiveness at every Yankees game.
Another source close to the couple, says told Us Weekly that Hudson is changing a-Rod for the better.
Prior to Kate, A-Rod suffered a high-profile divorce from wife Cynthia in 2008. He was also reported to have had an affair with Madonna.
