British actor Hugh Grant was not visible lately. In fact, his last film was “Music and Lyrics” whom he starred with Drew Barrymore and that’s like 2 years ago. So why has he missed the action for so long?

Grant explains, “On the last film I did, `Music and Lyrics,’ although I really enjoyed it and I liked the film, I did get terrible panic attacks. And I sort of thought after that `I’m not keen to have more panic attacks,’ so that kept me away.”

Now Grant returns to the big screen opposite no less than Sarah Jessica Parker in the romantic comedy, “Did You Hear About the Morgans?” Here he reunites with Marc Lawrence, the director of his previous movies, “Two Weeks Notice” and “Music and Lyrics.”

In his new movie, Grant says he was very involved with the script development, the casting ang the editing, and even in the selection of the poster. But the one thing he didn’t like much at all was the acting part.

“I did it as a joke job for a year after I left university. And I was so bad in the first things I did, I thought, `I’ve got to do another job to prove that I’m not quite that bad.’ And that’s gone on for 27 years now.” he says.

“Did You Hear Abour the Morgans?” opens Friday in US theaters.
