A judge from Maryland ordered Jon Gosselin to stop making media appearances and endorsements which the network TLC claims are in violation of his contract.

Gosselin recently hosted a Las Vegas pool party with bikini clad women. TLC Chief Operating Officer Edward Sabin said that such activities are not permitted in the contract.

The judge, Montgomery County Circuit Judge Michael D. Mason granted TLC a preliminary injunction. Gosselin’s lawyer was initially confident that their side would win the case. He also expected TLC to settle so they can continue doing “Jon & Kate Plus 8.”

In another media appearance TLC did not approve of, was Jon Gosselin’s interview with Larry King where he revealed that they earned about $22,500 for every episode.  They used to earn only $2,000 per episode when the show started.

The reality show came to a full stop because of legal issues and also the couple’s divorce.
