kandi1One fight ended in a greater tragedy for Kandi Burruss, a castmember of the reality show Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta. Her fiancé, Ashley Jewell, died after a brawl which happened outside an Atlanta strip club.

Atlanta Police Lt. Keith Meadows told the WBSTV, “It appears he was involved in an altercation in the parking lot and he received a severe blow to the head.”

Jewell or AJ, made regular appearances on the hit reality show. He was often seen having a clash with Burruss’ mom, who did not like Jewell for her daughter.

Burruss’ publicist Lisa Nelson said Burruss is already informed of the tragedy and that the reality star was “stunned and speechless.”

Police reports that the cause of the brawl is still not known but that it is under investigation.

Lt. Meadows.said authorities have already identified a person of interest and they have made contact with him for questioning.

I just happened to be watching an episode of TRHOA, checked my email and saw the tragic news. It again made me realize how short and precious life is. I pray that his loved ones, especially his children, Kandi and all who knew him will find peace and comfort in God's love.

We must also be mindful that putting one soul in heaven with our words while placing another in an earthly hell is not helpful or loving. Eventhough Kandi's mother didn't feel AJ was the right person for her daughter, nothing could ever make me believe that this mother is happy that this young man is now dead.
Peace, comfort and love to all
