Stuff today just got all the weirder when a young man dressed up as his dead mother, took her identity, and attempted to use it to collect her subsidies, amounting to around $115,000. What’s even weirder is that, he really believes that he is his dead mom.

Thomas Prusik-Parkin used a dress, wig and makeup to impersonate his mother, along with fake ID cards and an imaginary nephew. Police were able to arrest him when he agreed to meet with them to discuss other matters.

“I held my mother when she was dying and breathed in her last breath, so I am my mother,” Prusik-Parkin was reported to have said.

Prusik-Parkin is not awaiting trial for charges of grand larceny, forgery and conspiracy.
