Several A-list celebrities will be performing during the memorial service to give Michael Jackson a tribute fit for royalty. ABC reports, “Among the celebrities ABCNews.com has confirmed will attend are Justin Timberlake, Lionel Richie and his daughter Nicole, who was Michael’s goddaughter, rapper Akon, Queen Latifah, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Beyonce and Mariah Carey, who might perform the Jackson Five hit, “I’ll Be There,” which she also recorded. Beyonce and Jennifer Hudson are also expected to perform.”
The media have started their coverage of the procession as early as 8:00 am.
As previously reported, expect heavy traffic and increased security in the procession routes.
