Stars shone brightly at the premiere screening of what they call Michael Jackson‘s last performance, “This Is It.” It was held at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.
Celebrities Will Smith, Jennifer Lopez, Neil Patrick Harris, Paula Abdul, Katy Perry, Paris Hilton, Adam Lambert, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Ashley Tisdale were all there to support the event.
Previous reports said none of the Jacksons would make an appearance, but all of Michael’s brothers were there. They received a standing ovation from the crowd before the film began. However, none of the sisters was present. Not even MJ’s parents Katherine and Joe.
Jermaine told People, “We had to be here to support my brother’s work. They say this is it, but this is just the beginning.” Michael’s kids were also there–Prince, Paris and Blanket.
“This Is It” has varied reviews. But after watching, singer Joey McIntyre said, “It was beautiful and touching.”
