Michael Lynche really have a strong performance on today’s American Idol Men’s Performance Night. He sang This Woman’s Work by Kate Bush.

Randy said that Lynche and his performace is unbelievable. Ellen said that the performance was beautiful and he is “the one to beat now”. Kara was crying, saying that “I’ve never cried after hearing something like that. It’s amazing. You were amazing. And it’s so relevant for you, and I can feel it. It’s your life right now. It’s your respect for your wife, what you’ve gone through … and as a woman who doesn’t have a child, I can relate to it so much and it brought me to tears” . Simon complemented Lynche saying that the song is hard to sing but he nailed it. Simon also said that his performance was not only the best performance of the night but the best of the live shows so far.

The viewers also saw a new side of Simon Cowell, who hugged to comfort his co-judge Kara.
