U.S. President Barack Obama seems to be a little distracted during the G8 summit and was caught looking in the direction of a young lady while standing with French President Nicolas Sarkozy. Now what could they be thinking?
The young women present at the G8 summit were junior G8 delegates.
The Group of Eight nations Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia and the United States discussed the implications of the world not uniting to battle dangerous temperature increases and climate change.
“There is no contradiction between environmentally sustainable growth and robust economic growth,” Obama said at the conclusion of a forum of the world’s 17 major economies, which account for about 80 percent of emissions of heat-trapping gases blamed for global warming. “We can either shape our future or we can let events shape it for us.”, reports Huffington Post.
