Obama On Fox News for the Health Care Bill (Video): President Barack Obama on Wednesday took to the Fox News Channel, derided by his White House as a wing of the Republican Party, to sell his embattled health care overhaul in an interview punctuated with interruptions from the host and chiding from the guest.

In a sometimes-combative interview with Fox News’ Bret Baier, President Obama predicted that his health care reform bill will pass and said that he doesn’t “spend a lot of time worrying about what the procedural rules are in the House or Senate”.  Obama several times emphasized the upside of the proposals and dodged questions about how Congress might pass it.

Several times, Obama somewhat scolded Baier for breaking into his lengthy answers with follow-up questions. “Bret, you’ve got to let me finish my answers,” Obama told Baier, the news channel’s White House correspondent during the Bush administration.

The interview was notable because the White House has sharply criticized the cable network. Top officials have said it is part of the Republican Party and Obama has singled out the network for perceived bias.
