Oprah rarely shares the front cover of her O Magazine with anyone. But she’s doing it again for only the second time. For the December Issue of The Oprah Magazine, the queen of all media is sharing the page with none other than Ellen DeGeneres.

The duo, both talk show hosts did a number of poses for the cover. One is said to even have Winfrey “perched atop a giant gift box.” But only one made it to the real cover, and if you want to see it, you should buy it when it goes out on November 12.

O Magazine features DeGeneres as she talks about her life and her wife, actress Portia DeRossi. She also shares her thoughts on her new job as one of the judges in American Idol.

Oprah says of the new cover, “Ellen DeGeneres is a woman who can make things happen. When she decided she wanted to be on the cover of O, she pulled out all the stops. It worked – for only the second time in O history, I’m sharing the cover with a woman I adore.”
