Several people on board a flight to Newcastle refused to fly when the pilot and crew asked passengers to reorganize themselves to balance the weight of the plane.
The jammed hold door on the plane only allowed it to be loaded with cargo from the front, which prompted the crew to arrange the passengers to counteract the weight. 71 people, however, feared for their safety, and left the plane, seeking alternative methods of flying to Newcastle.
Crew and personnel were saying that making sure that the weight on the plane was perfectly balanced is standard procedure, and that there is no pertinent safety risk involved.
