Time Warner CableTime Warner Cable NYC–an American national cable television company that operates in 27 states and is considered as the second largest company in the industry known for the tiered pricing of its services–is appealing to its subscribers for help.

In its new ad campaign, the company is asking all its customers to show their support for the company in its negotiation with network programming providers to prevent raises in rates it would have to pay for carrier rights.

The Weather Channel, F/X, Food Network, and HGTV are some of the network deals set to expire this year. In its Web site, Time Warner Cable appeals to subscribers, “We’re just one company, but there are millions of you. Together, we just might be able to make a difference in what America pays for its favorite entertainment.”

Meanwhile, subscribers began receiving New Tang Dynasty Television (NTDTV) on Channel 589 starting November 21. All digital cable subscribers in Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island, and Mt. Vermon, NY have access to NTDTV free of charge.
