General Motors is closing both it’s Pontiac and Saturn brands and is giving great discounts before dumping the brands.
GM is offering $7,000 extra sales inducements to dealers through Monday on all the leftover Saturns and Pontiacs remaining in their inventories.
The vehicles can then be sold to consumers at a deep discount, but would be classified as used because the dealer technically was the first owner.
GM will be selling the Hummer brand while keeping Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac alive as its core brands.
