REO Speedwagon is now downloadable as a video game.

REO selected the lesser trod genre of “hidden object adventure” games to PCs and Macs. Other bands such as Van Halen, Metallica and The Beatles have chosen music-based release when they launched their video and game debuts.

REO’s “Find Your Own Way Home” was named for the track and title of the band’s 2007 studio album. It has 10 hours of fun game as well as new recording of REO songs, all from publisher Merscom and production studio Curious Sense.

In a press release, Curious Sense CEO Adam Blumenthal said, “‘Find Your Own Way’ Home is our first product in this category, so it was important that we were aligned with great partners. In Merscom we have a partner with a tremendous track record of one success after another.”

Curious Sense plans to produce similar games for other brands soon.
