Guitarist of famous band Rolling Stones Ronnie Wood was recently accused of domestic assault. On Thursday, Wood was released on bail.

Wood, who’s 62 years old was arrested on Wednesday near his home in southern England. He spent the night in the custody of the police prior to his release.

A spokesman for Wood said, “I can confirm that there was an incident last night and that Ronnie Wood was arrested.” However, the police does not say who filed the assault complaint, and no further details were disclosed.

Could this assault be in connection with Wood’s highly publicized divorce from his wife of 24 years? Wood and his wife, Jo,  got divorced only last month on grounds of adultery. The settlement was about £6.5 million ($10.7 million). The couple had 2 children.

Presently, Wood is dating young woman. 20-year old Russian cocktail waitress Ekaterina Ivanova. They’ve been together for a year.
