Simon Monjack, the British screenwriter and husband of actress Brittany Murphy is not agreeable to an autopsy of her wife. But an autopsy will be performed on Monday despite Monjack’s opinion. Among those which will be examined are the prescription meds found in the house, including toxicology tests. This process could take six weeks to be analyzed.

People might be asking why Monjack does not want autopsy, but foul play is not suspected at this time, says Ed Winter of the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.

The actress suffered a full cardiac arrest on Sunday morning on the LA home of Monjack.. Murphy’s mother found her unconscious in the shower and she called 911. She also told the paramedics that her daughter had a history of diabetes.

Meanwhile, friends of the star tweeted about the great loss, with ex-boyfriend Ashton Kutcher offering his condolences, “2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany’s family, her husband, & her amazing mother Sharon. See you on the other side kid.”

IF anyone has lost someone very young and suddenly, they would understand why her husband does not want an autopsy.
You love someone, want to protect them from everything that is happening and can not bare the thought of strangers cutting into them, running tests on their hair, blood you just want them to be left alone, the way they are and not surrounded by people the do not know.
He must be out of his mind with grief and to think of that they have to do to her body is inimaginable.

People should stop reading into it, it is human and a natural reaction. To go from having a full of life wife that you love more than anything and want a family with to having her dead at 32 will not register in his brain yet, he's just on auto pilot.
