Billboard reveals the two artists they chose to be their Top Female and Top Male Artist of the Year Awards, and it’s none other than Taylor Swift and Kanye West.

This news is very exciting especially since the two had quite a scene when West ruined Swift’s shining moment at the VMAs, where West rudely interrupted Swift while she was giving her acceptance speech for Best Female Video.

But of course that little West episode is not enough to take down Swift’s career nor spirit, because the country singer raked in a lot of awards this year, including two Academy of Country Music awards, five BMI awards, five Country Music Association awards (including Entertainer of the Year), and five American Music Awards including Artist of the Year. Swift also topped Billboard’s overall Artists of 2009 list.

Swift and West’s next chance to see each other face-to-face would be the 2010 Grammy’s where both are nominated for different categories.
