Now that the Tiger Woods’ scandal have finally made it to the tabloids, people are curious about what her mom might think about his son.

A friend of their family tells PEOPLE that Tiger’s mom is hurt, angry and disappointed. The friend adds, “It was devastating to her. She likes Elin, and adores her grandchildren. She’s worried about them. She doesn’t want to see them hurt,” adds the source. But this does not mean that she is going to turn her back on him. After all, she is his mother. She loves her son, of course, and is expected to be at his side to help him through anything.

Tiger’s mom Kutilda Woods also dealt with infidelity from Tiger’s dad. So maybe that’s why she couldn’t believe her son would do the exact same thing.
