On Tuesday, Academy Award-winning actor Tom Hanks joined the cast of a new HBO miniseries at the National World War II Museum to launch “The Pacific.”
“The Pacific” is a 10-part miniseries which follows three U.S. Marines fighting in the Pacific Theater during World War II. Hanks is its executive producer.
The stars of the miniseries–James Badge Dale, Jon Seda and Joe Mazzello were all there for a screening of the first episode which was held at the convention center.
“The Pacific” debuts on HBO on March 14. It will cover some of WWII’s worst times, including Guadalcanal, Iwo Jima and Okinawa.
On a separate occasion, Hanks got in a bit of trouble when he went live on Regis and Kelly and called Ripa “Kathie Lee!” Way to go, Tom Hanks!
