Rinaldo Nocentini of Italy earns the yellow jacket after finishing first in stage 7 of the Tour De France. .
Spaniard Alberto Contador, came in second with only 6 seconds behind. Contador won the 2007 Tour De France.Lance Armstrong is now down to 3rd place after trailing behind with 8 seconds.
The stage concluded with a climb to Arcalis, the first above category of the race, a 10.6 kilometer ascent with a seven percent grade.
American Levi Leipheimer, who crashed late in the stage, finished 14th and is fourth overall, trailing by 39 seconds. Andreas Kloden of Germany is sixth overall, trailing by 54 seconds and completes four Astana riders in the top 10.
