Twitter was hacked and defaced earlier today by a group know as the “Iranian Cyber Army“.

Twitter was defaced with a message that read:

Iranian Cyber Army

THIS SITE HAS BEEN HACKED BY IRANIAN CYBER ARMY

Twitter is now back up and issued a statement saying “Twitter’s DNS records were temporarily compromised but have now been fixed. We are looking into the underlying cause and will update with more information soon.”
