ufc-106-live-streamHoping reenact their epic 2006 battle are UFC superstars Tito Ortiz and Forrest Griffin in the UFC 106 Octagon today at the Malanday Bay Events Center.

The two go way back in 2006 when they headlined the UFC 59 in light heavyweight bout. The bout ended in a split decision in favor of Ortiz. “I survived the fight,” he said. “I was in survival mode and I ended up pulling off the split decision.”

Forrest fiercely fought back after surviving the fury of the “Huntington Beach Bad Boy” and came back energized to even out the game.

Also featured in the UFC 106 are the two of the hardest hitting welterweights in the world, Josh Koscheck and Anthony Johnson.

The Malanday Bay Events center televised bouts will start at 7PM PT/10PM ET.

Update: Another decision, but this time awarded to Forrest Griffin with scores of 30-27, 29-28, and 28-29. The decision smacks of controversy because Ortiz dominated the first two rounds but gave out in the third.

Anthony “Rumble” Johnson’s knockout finesse was no match for Josh “Kos” Koscheck’s wrestling and was choked out in the 2nd via rear naked choke
