UFC 106 kicks off with the weighing-in of the fight cards and some bad news.

Karo Parisyan backed out of the UFC 106 leaving Dustin Hazelett without an opponent and UFC president Dana White fuming. The angry White blacklisted Parisyan from any upcoming UFC events.

The main event features Tito Ortiz and Forrest Griffin.
