UFO China: Was it really a UFO that caused the shutdown of China’s Xiaoshan Airport for an hour and disrupted air traffic over Zhejiang’s provincial capital Hangzhou on Wednesday night?

According to the China Daily, Xiaoshan Airport was closed after the UFO was detected at around 9 pm, and some flights were rerouted to airports in the cities of Ningbo and Wuxi , said an airport spokesman, who declined to be named.

Flights bound for Xiaoshan Airport were diverted to airports in Ningbo and Wuxi cities, said an airport spokesman. Outbound flights were delayed for three to four hours.

Chinese officials did not elaborate on the true nature of the UFO and did not publicly disclose the information because there was a military connection.

The airport has resumed normal operations.
