Vancouver 2010: Winter Olympics Medals Day 5 – Here’s the medal count for Day 5 of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

The United States maintains it’s lead with 8 medals, 2 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze. Germany is still 2 medals short with 2 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze. The French finally bumped off Canada and held steady with 2 gold and 3 bronze. A new comer to the top 5 is Switzerland with three gold. Finally, still in 5th place are the Koreans with 2 gold and 1 silver.
