Teen queen Miley Cyrus is never gonna do country. In an interview with Parade, Miley reveals why and speaks about Lady Gaga, dealing with paparazzi, and why she quit Twitter.

On not doing country music
“It scares me, that’s why. It feels contrived on so many levels. Unless you’re wearing a cowboy hat and cowboy boots and singing and whining about your girlfriend or boyfriend leaving you it’s not going to sell. I think that’s why my dad finally got out of it. You have to wear those cowboy boots and be sweet as pie. It makes me nervous, the politics of it all.”

Miley’s dad, Billy Ray was an American country music singer, songwriter and actor, best known for his #1 single “Achy Breaky Heart”.

On Lady Gaga
Miley didn’t go gaga over Lady Gaga at first, but she now claims she’s a “convert.” She says she thinks Lady Gaga is really smart and chill.

On paparazzi
Miley recently felt scared of all the paparazzi that’s been hounding her everywhere, including her recording studio. She said there was even a time when she was being followed by too many cars.

On giving up Twitter
When Miley deleted her Twitter page, there were so many speculations on why she did it. But Miley finally says it’s because some of her posts got highly controversial. Like the time she posted her stand on gay marriages and as a result, she got hate mails.
