World Cup Live Stream: Will Robert Green be wearing the gloves when England goes against Algeria in the second round of the 2010 World Cup Group C matches at the Green Point Stadium 230 PM ET?

British tabloids bashed English goalkeeper Robert Green’s shocking fumble which allowed the USA to score an equalizer, drawing the match 1-1. The tabloids are even calling the fumble as the “Hand of Clod”.

Green was well positioned as he went down to stop a seemingly innocuous 25-yard left-foot shot from Clint Dempsey in the 40th minute, but the ball slipped off his gloves and rolled into the net, giving the U.S. an equalizer.

Green isn’t too worried about his error saying, “It’s done, it happened.

It’s about being steady and taking the rough with the smooth, but that’s life as a goalkeeper.

I’ve been in this situation before and it’s about holding your head up high, facing you guys (the media), taking the flak which is going to come. That’s life.”

The odds are stacked against Algeria in this match. Bet365 is favoring England 1.25 to Algeria’s 12.00. England has yet to lose a match against an African team with 11 wins and 4 draws.
