The Yankee parade route will begin on Broadway at Battery Place at 11 a.m. and continue uptown along the Canyon of Heroes to Chambers Street.
The Yankees parade 2009 ends at the New York city hall with a ceremony where Mayor Michael Bloomberg will present the Bronx Bombers with the Keys to the City.
The parade celebrates the New York Yankees World Series win earning them their 27th World series title.
