The New York Knicks are quickly back on track after a brief halt in their winning ways courtesy of the Sacramento Kings. Defending champs Dallas Mavericks gave the “linsane” New York Knicks a good roll to no avail with 104-97 in favor of the New Yorkers.
Jeremy Mamba-killer Lin finished the night with another double-double, scoring 28 points and a career high of 14 assists, putting an end to the Mavs’ impressive 6-game winning streak.
“Looking back, it’s like I was watching them win the championship last year, and that’s obviously where this team wants to go,” praised Lin.
It was a fun roller coaster ride-match. The Mavs had to catch up 12-point lead early assembled by the Knicks at the first quarter. During the third quarter, now it was the Knicks trailing until a fourth quarter rally led by Lin overtook the Mavs, beating them again for the third time in their last 20 outings.
Finals MVP Dirk Nowitzki scored a season-high of 34 points.
