Looks like Walmart is slashing it’s iPhone prices to prepare it’s inventory for the new iPhone!
Walmart dropped the price of a brand new 16GB iPhone 3GS (with with a new two-year contract) to $97. That’s $100 cheaper than its previous price! Check it out here.
The sale has no end date and the move could mean Walmart is expecting the new iPhone very soon.
Walmart’s hunches may be right. Apple CEO Steve Jobs may introduce the new iPhone (4G?) in the upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). The WWDC is set for June 7-11.
The iPhone is a line of Internet and multimedia-enabled smartphones designed and marketed by Apple Inc., and originally released in 2007. An iPhone functions as a camera phone (also including text messaging and visual voicemail), a portable media player (equivalent to a video iPod), and an Internet client (with e-mail, web browsing, and Wi-Fi connectivity).
