Indeed it was an explosive finale for American Idol Season 9! Simon’s last night as judge, former judge Paula Abdul guests, then there’s the 80′s glam rockstar singer who lead his band Poison, Bret Michaels, back and still looking like he was back in the 80′s (how do you keep looking young Bret?), David Cook didn’t make it, and that memorable performance from the artist that continues to make waves every time she hits the stage or promotes a new single, Janet Jackson.

If you missed the season’s finale, or tuned in late, you’ve definitely missed her performance. If you’ve watched the 2 hour special, then it is still worth your time to see her one time too many.

Janet is the youngest of the talented Jackson family of singers, entertainers and musicians. She started performing on stage while she was still seven, then later took acting in the variety television series, The Jacksons. Then at age 16, she signed a recording contract with A&M records, releasing her first album in the same year.
