An exciting Game 4 between the Phoenix Suns and the Los Angeles Lakers, the Lakers who started the series with 2 wins has now accumulated 2 losses. The Suns catches up, beating the Lakers 115-106.

It was a stellar performance from the Suns’ bench, the players contributed 54 huge points. This has taken the Lakers by surprise, when the bench pushed the Suns in the second quarter. The second quarter turned to a three-point shootfest, with players from camps drilling threes accurately. Kobe contributed, Artest contributed, and yes, the Suns’ bench contributed, a lot.

The game ended with the Lakers trying to turn the last quarter into a free throw contest, trying to catch up with the 11 point deficit with 40 seconds left in the game. Odom makes a three, and Bryant couldn’t complete his three point play, but the Suns continued scoring two’s and the Lakers didn’t even get close.

Kobe Bryant ended with 38 points, Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom scored 15 points each, Ron Artest and Bynum added 25 for L.A.

Amare Stoudemire ended with 21 points, Steve Nash with 15, Frye and Leandro Barbossa added 11 points each.
