Tonight’s main event will feature veteran octagon fighters, Chuck Liddell and Rich Franklin.

The last time the “Iceman” Liddell was in the UFC, he lost to Mauricio Rua in UFC 97, and before that, got knocked out (he usually does the knocking out) by Rashad Evans in UFC 88.

Meanwhile, Franklin’s last bout was a disaster against the Brazilian “Phenom”, Vitor Belfort in UFC 103, before that, he won via a unanimous decision against veteran Wanderlei Silva in UFC 99.

Both fighters are on the rebound as they face each other tonight, with the Iceman, hungrier for a victory he’s had since December 2007.

This will be the fourth UFC event to be held in Canada, following UFC 83, UFC 97 and UFC 113 and the first UFC event held in British Columbia since they passed a bill to sanction MMA, on December 17, 2009.
