Jon Thomas, an employee at the Best Buy showroom on Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa, Florida, said, “3-D TV is probably one of the most remarkable things that could have ever come about as far as Home Theater.”

He added while showing off the life-like—or, actually, I-Max theater-like picture on a $3,000 set, “You actually do need the special glasses and of course, you have to have the compatible television.”

He also said, “You don’t have to watch everything in 3D, but it is a great option for this particular television.”

Thomas said, “If you’re looking at the screen, you’ll notice a lot of things coming right out at you. It makes it feel like you can reach out and touch it and become part of the movie itself.”
